The 2012 vintage has yielded wines of exceptional fragrance. The prevailing weather conditions ensured that the Riesling berries remained crunchy and juicy until they were picked and did not therefore shrink to raisins. The result is a very fruity and aromatic Riesling. Unlike in years past, the vintage yielded no botrytis-type Beerenauslese or Trockenbeereauslese wines.
